Blue Spruce

Description

Blue Spruces are a low scent Christmas tree variety. The needles are prickly, and when the tree is stressed can be prone to drop them. The branches are robust and able to handle heavy ornaments. While small this tree has a stunning shape and stands proud, as it grows larger trimming and shaping are required to help it form the traditional conical shape.

Tree Care

Blue Spruces prefer the cold, in fact they enjoy frosts! They don’t enjoy direct summer sun and would welcome placement in an area not in direct sunlight.

It is required to keep them watered – this is explained in the accompanying care brochure

For the best result, small every day watering will ensure their colour and needle retention is as high as possible.

FAQS

More FAQs

What if I need to return the tree earlier or keep it longer?

We can accommodate early returns or extended leases with prior notice. Additional fees may apply for extended leases.

Where are the trees sources?

Our seed stock is sourced from specialist Spruce / Conifer growers who appreciate trees just as much as us.

What happens if the tree is damaged while in my care?

Minor damages are understandable and can occur as the tree is in a new environment to what it has been used to, but if the tree is significantly harmed, (multiple broken limbs, broken trunk, significant heat stress) then Potted Pines reserves the right to recover costs per the T & C's.

We ask that you treat the tree with care and follow the detailed care instructions to avoid such situations.

How heavy are the trees?

The heaviest of trees (6+ft) will be between 30-40kg. Please use manual handling/lifting techniques when moving the trees.
